Hi Marilyn,
Just wanted to update you on
Savannah's progress. This last 2 months have been great, she
earned her CD title for obedience and her NA and NAJ titles this
past weekend. I totaled all her AKC & GRCA titles and she
is has enough for the GRCA VC (versatility ) title. She
also earned her 1st leg in Open Agility with 1st place. Last
month she also got certified in NASDN Basic Mantrailing for Search
and Rescue. I'm so very proud of her, she is a great dog to train
and willing to please and work. I attached her photo from last
weekend's agility titles she earned.

I just wanted to let you know Savannah found her first missing person
for SAR. Last week Track & Trail SAR
was called out for a missing woman in Brookville. Savannah & Erik were the ones to find the lady.The search was successful and woman was found alive. I am so proud of both of them, all their training & hard work has paid off.

WELCOME To My Home of Goldendoodles I have been breeding Golden Retrievers for over 23 years and recently have had several requests for Goldendoodles. Although reluctant at first, I decided to dive into the Goldendoodle world after our own Klondike Bear sired a litter of gorgeous Goldendoodle puppies. So, I decided to purchase my own apricot male Standard Poodle. Louie, who has excellent clearances of his hips, heart, and elbow and is up to date on eye CERF, will sire our first generation. standard Goldendoodles with our own Golden Retriever beauties.

I
hope you remember us! We got one of the five puppies from the
Captain Morgan/Daisy litter that was born on June 27, 2009. Our
puppy was born on my 50th birthday! He was the blue ribbon puppy
(large and in charge puppy on the left!picture attached). We named
him Quincy since we had the fifth pick. He is quite a handful, but
beautiful as can be.
He
took first place in his puppy obedience class (I've attached a picture
of graduation night) and is in agility class now which he enjoys.
I
submitted a photo last fall to a Purina Pro Plan Top Dog Contest and had
forgotten about it until I called my vet to make an appointment for his
yearly physical last week and they told me he was featured in the
October 2010 issue of Dog Fancy Magazine as Top Dog for October!
It's on the stands now and has Martha Stewart on the front of it.
It's the first fold out in the magazine. I thought you might want
to pick up a copy or maybe you already subscribe. I'm sending
along the link so that you can see the picture we submitted.
We
have kept in touch with his sister (gold ribbon puppy that is now named
Sophie - she's fourth from the left in the picture) and she is just
beautiful. We've been unable to contact the others and wonder
often how the pink and purple ribbon girls and the black ribbon boy are
doing. Quincy keeps things hopping here and has certainly
changed things up! Things must have been awful boring here before
Quincy!

a first place and the time of 35.99 sec! She went to 3 trials and Qd
every time in
jumpers. She still needs 2 more to get her NA title. I'm expecting
she will get in NNovember.
Can you believe
that she's only 16 months old! She's doing fantastic. She's 21.5
inches at the withers. I attached her picture to this e-mail.
